Traceability and transparency services

Traceability and transparency are key to ensuring that reuse contributes to recycling and to the evaluation of how brands and reuse initiatives minimize the environmental impact by extending the useful life span. The design of the process and support tools to trace digital devices (EEE/WEEE) and the geographical path of reused equipment to the collection and recycling points should be proposed and discussed with stakeholders. eReuse tools can provide guarantees that any device data that has been created by an automated (and sometimes digitally signed) process is reported by the system: any device is represented by a uniform resource locator (URL) and QR Tag for localization and collection, and eReuse provides (currently deprecated) an APP for more information with the devices.
